Mary Ann Evans Hospice
The project is for a new Bereavement Centre to the North of the existing Hospice building within their gardens adjacent to their boundary with the George Eliot Hospital. This purpose-designed building provides a stand-alone facility to accommodate groups as well as one-on-one sessions. This can be working with a group of thirty people in a tea party or having quiet conversations with an individual. This relieves space pressures within the existing Hospice building which until now had to shut down Day and Outpatient facilities on Bereavement Counselling Days.
