Phil Kavanagh is a Joint Director and one of the founding members of KKE Architects. Phil is an RIBA architect and has over 20 years of architectural experience, including high profile projects such as the residences of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, architect John Pawson and American lifestyle celebrity Martha Stewart, and has worked alongside the company’s other directors for many years now.
Universidad de Chile
Chilean-born Jorge Eguiguren is a joint Director and one of the founding members of KKE Architects. Jorge came to work in the UK 25 years ago, having first taken an architectural degree at the Universidad de Chile in Santiago. Jorge is the practice leader in the field of sustainable and environmentally friendly knowledge and technologies. He ensures that sustainable and Passivhaus principles are applied wherever possible/appropriate to projects, whilst maintaining a fabric first approach.
Emily qualified as an Architect through the RIBA Northwest in 2010, having studied for her Undergraduate degree at Leeds Metropolitan University and her Masters at the University of Sheffield. She joined KKE in April 2013 as a Project Architect. Emily is interested in helping people make the spaces that they need, and has taken a lead role on both Hospice redevelopment projects as well as some of our heritage schemes.
Lorin is an RIBA qualified architect having taken his BA Hons at Newcastle University School of Architecture and his Post Graduate Diploma in architecture and Post Graduate Diploma in Architectural Practice at Westminster University’s School of Architecture. Lorin joined KKE Architects in September 2012 and as well as project specific work, has helped lead the use of sustainable building methods and materials within the office.
Senior Architectural Technician
Andrew is a design lead Architectural Technician who first studied Interior Architecture at Cardiff School of Art & Design. He then reinforced his technical knowledge by gaining a HNC in Building Studies, which he studied for part-time while working in a local practice. Andrew joined KKE in April 2013 and has taken a lead role in the delivery of a new Art & Design faculty for Worcester College of Technology and projects for the University of Worcester.

Architectural Assistant Part I
Kerry is our office manager and joined KKE in September 2015. With 19 years experience in office environments she is responsible for facilitating the efficient functioning of our office on a day to day basis.
Architectural Assistant Part II
Helen is currently working towards her final RIBA qualification having gained her Undergraduate degree in International Architecture at the University of Huddersfield and Masters in Architecture at Birmingham City University. Helen has significant experience in BIM software and processes, in particular reference to healthcare projects. Helen joined KKE Architects in July 2016.
Olivia Kirk is one of the Founding Members of KKE. In November 2015 she moved into the role of Consultant for KKE. Olivia is our landscape and garden designer, working both unilaterally on landscaping and garden projects and as part of a combined KKE Architects team. Olivia studied garden design and horticulture at Pershore College. She has exhibited three times at the Chelsea Flower Show, in conjunction with KKE, winning a Gold Medal in 2011 for her ‘Power of Nature’ garden and a Silver Gilt Medal in 2010 & 2014.
